Please keep in mind that our first concern is for the welfare of our puppies and to ensure that they are placed in homes that will be suitable for them. As with any breed, malamutes do not fit into every lifestyle or with every person therefore we do require a “PUPPY APPLICATION” to be filled out to help us better understand your lifestyle and whether a malamute would be a suitable companion for you/or your family. Once we have received your puppy application we will contact you within a few days to set up an appointment to visit the parents and the kennel to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
All of our breeding parents are certified for:
Hip Dysplasiaeither through The Ontario Veterinary College “OVC” Canada or The Orthapedic Foundation for Animals “OFA” United States.
Chondrodysplacia“CHD” through The Alaskan Malamute Club of America Chodnrodysplacia Certification Commitee
Eyescertified clear through the Canine Eye Registration Foundation “CERF” by a certified opthamoligist.
We would be pleased to supply copies of any of our certifications to aproved homes.
Reservations are not taken for color, a reservation will place you on the list for a puppy.Color preference will be taken into consideration, (but not guaranteed). We cannot guarantee sex, colour, size or number prior to the litter being born.
Deposit: All reservations do require a non refundable $200.00 deposit, this lets us know that you are serious about adopting one of our puppies. It also allows us to know what will be available once the litter is born. Those that have made a reservation will be notified when the litter is born and when they will be able to come for visitation.
PUPPY VISITATION: After giving birth the mum and babies need rest, the pups need time to build some immunity, therefore visitation is not allowed until the pups are at least 3 weeks old. At this time we fully encourage regular visitation with the pups until they are old enough to go to their new homes. Until visitation is allow I will update the website with puppy pictures.
SPAY/NEUTER: All pups sold as pet/companion will be subject to spay/neuter Non-Breeding contracts. You will received your puppies registration papers once we have received confirmation of spay/neuter certificate from your veterinarian.
PUPPY PICKS: We reserve the first pick male and female for our breeding program. Each puppy is carefully evaluated and placement is determined by personality of the puppy and lifestyle of the purchaser.
SHIPPING: Shipping is available to approved homes, all shipping and crate costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser. We ship from Toronto International Airport.
